NATO Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) welcomed personnel from NATO AIRCOM for the Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) Conference, Nov. 15 to 17.
“This was a fitting theme for the 2022 Maritime Air Coordination Conference, given the importance our command places on execution of coordinated, multi-domain operations in the effective and efficient deterrence and defence of the Euro-Atlantic area,” said Hellenic Navy Commodore Ilias Raptis, COMMARAIRNATO and Deputy Chief of Staff for Maritime Air Operations at MARCOM. “The last 12 months have seen MARAIR and MARCOM make significant strides toward our goal of increased coordination between the maritime and air domains, within the NATO command structure and external to NATO at the national level.”
In addition, MARCOM HQ welcomed personnel from NATO AIRCOM for the Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) Quarterly Scheduling Conference, Nov. 15 to 17.
