These pages were last updated on April 262021. They contain the most updated information and guidelines on COVID-19 including the most recent information on Entering the UK (under "Travel Guidance"), released by the Command Group of the Allied Maritime Command to all of its international staff serving at MARCOM and extended to their families.

Allied Maritime Command will continue to guarantee its responsibilities towards Standing Naval Forces and Operation Sea Guardian. Mitigation measures due to COVID-19 are implemented in a sensible manner to keep our personnel, our units and our crews safe. It will include guidelines and security procedures to be observed at the Headquarters.

Measures about Covid 19 prevention have been updated and are reported in MARCOM's HQTM 3/20 Rev 10 dated 07 Jan 2021; this document is the key guidance to which all staff members must adhere to. To highlight some key points:

1. Staffing levels within MARCOM should not routinely exceed 35% of our maximum complement.

2. DCOSs and ACOSs will provide guidance to their teams in order to alternate-working in MARCOM and working remotely on a week by week basis. Individuals should not be absent from the headquarters for more than a week at a time, unless otherwise directed or approved by the COS.

3. Staff members will have to use public transportation to/from MARCOM HQ during "off-peak" periods (not travelling between 0630-0930 and 1600-1900); daily routines will be adjusted accordingly by DCOSs and ACOSs.

4. Particular attention will be paid to further minimizing the number, attendance and duration of meetings in person, visits to the MARCOM HQ and travelling abroad.

5. It will mandatory to wear a face covering at all times in all areas of the Atlantic Building, with the only exception of when alone in an office or while consuming food and beverages.

6. Face Coverings are not considered a substitute for social distancing, which remains a key measure to avoid the spread of virus.

7. All the Covid 19 related situations (positive test, symptoms, household members involved, etc.) must continue to be promptly reported to the relevant chain of command (ACOS/DCOS), to the SNRs and to the MEDAD.

8. Medical data will continue to be treated with the maximum possible level of privacy and discretion while taking in consideration the need of ensuring the safety of staff members and families.
