MEDITERRANEAN SEA - From October 14 to 30, four NATO ships and one submarine in cooperation with maritime patrol aircraft, conducted focused security patrols in international waters of the eastern Mediterranean Sea as part of NATO’s maritime counter-terrorism operation, Operation Sea Guardian.

MEDITERRANEAN SEA – Last week the Greek frigate HS Salamis and the Portuguese frigate NRP Bartolomeu Dias, while deployed to NATO’s Operation Sea Guardian in the Mediterranean, in a demonstration of  agility and complementarity of NATO maritime operations, have completed a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the Spanish Tanker ESPS Patino, deployed with Standing NATO Maritime Group Two, Task Unit 02 (SNMG2 TU02).
